Today has been a really exciting day, the rumor mills have been buzzing about a possible event being planned for January to announce a large screen device of some description along the lines of a large iphone.  The rumors started as DigiTimes gave word of a 5 Megapixel camera sensor coming to the iphone, Next Piper Jaffray’s Gene Munster announced a 75% chance of an Apple event in January and the tablet is 50/50.  The most exciting news though came from a Silicon Alley insider who, quoting an inside source says Apple is working with some select application developers creating some high resolution apps for an unknown larger mobile device.  I guess my predictions are starting to come true.  Wonder if it will be subsidised by phone carriers when released.  

The prediction is that the device will be announced in January at an Apple Event for release around May/June.  Related post
